Not sure how this gets started but it is happening for sure – bathroom reading
On this very cold Sunday we were busy decorating a gingerbread house and afterwards we took the boys to the playground.
Max also was ready to get going
Simon was a pretty good helper
Max was after the m&m candy and the icing.
The finished product.
A quick clip
Ready to go for a chilly walk to the playground
Apparently only mama and papa noticed the cold temps.
A bit of balance beam action.
Max walked quite a bit despite the bulky clothing.
Mama and the boys
Max visited the dentist to have his chipped tooth checked out and we were assured it was all well. Nothing to be done really. Picture below shows the dental assistant with Max in action to get a picture of his teeth.
Although we did not encourage this, Simon has somehow mastered a new skill on the slide.
Max was completely fascinated with the massive music box on the roof of the Wake Health Hospital.
Below are a few images from recent activities with the boys, in no particular order and with no particular theme.
Bread shopping with Papa downtown
Chasing Mama and Simon
Race car drivers
That was hard work
I can now float in my back
We have an exciting new throne
Even though this is now the third Halloween for Simon and Max this year was the first time that they got to actually experience it. They wore costumes last year, but it was just a blur. This year they were busy Halloween bees.
The pumpkins and the carving tools
All cutting is done freehand
Simon and Max wanted to help, but Papa needs to learn to let go
The finished pumpkins
The pumpkins clearly need an inspection
The boys on Halloween morning in school
Ready for action
One happy bumble bee
Simon was a bit more reserved
But they looked very cute
Ready to visit a neighborhood Halloween party in the late afternoon
Hanging out and exploring
This was fun
Time for little bees to return to the hive
The pumpkins are ready for trick and treat kids
