We just checked downstairs and it appears that Santa brought Simon and Max a few items.
It is Christmas Eve and the boys are filled with anticipation.
We discovered that Simon enjoys playing fetch right now. He in fact seems to have an endless interest along those lines.
Here are a few outtakes we captured while trying to shoot the Christmas card. We actually took pictures on two days to finally get it done and we were very lucky that the weather played along nicely. No words though really needed to describe what is going on below.
A very eager Simon squirted milk all over his face but that did not stop him from enjoying the rest of the bottle.
The Christmas trees are up, the boys have been good, so we see no reason why Santa would not come by next week for a little visit.
This year mommy decorated the tree and dad only put on the lights.
We have a second Christmas tree hanging in the hallway – our homage to Charlie Brown.
The little men clearly can’t wait.
Day or night
Santa came to Grace Court Park this morning and we first went to have a little breakfast at Breakfast of Course. After all we would not have wanted cranky hungry little men to sit on the lap of Santa.
The boys were very good. It must help that we take them out on a regular basis.
Happy boys after a banana, bread and eggs.
Not sure what to think of the big man. But neither boy was afraid of him or tried to get away.
Simon though wanted to see more of Santa after the session with him.
After the nap we all went to buy a Christmas tree, and Simon and Max were fascinated with all the action on the tree lot.
